We’ve toyed with the idea of creating a physical book over the last few months. Creating physical books are mad expensive!
However we believe that the community deserves a tangible piece of Black Hair History that highlights and centers tight curl + natural hair to adorn your book shelves or coffee tables.
But before we can create a physical book…we need your help!
Join us for a Curl-Laboration
Black Girl Curls would like to invite the community to Curl-Laborate with us on our journey to create our very first currently untitled physical book.
Community partners will have the opportunity to collaborate in things like helping to choose a title, choosing a cover while getting all the behind the scenes tid bits in the making of this book.
Our Curl-Laboration promises to be an experience that centers the community as Black Girl Curls brings this printed gem to life.
Don’t worry for those of you that love our digital experience, our new book will be offered in both digital and print copies with your help! The printed version of our upcoming book will allow you all to share and gift those around you with everything that you’ve learned about taking care of your hair (because god knows you’re still learning and finding your way through your natural hair).

This campaign will run through July 31st. At the completion of the campaign all member perks aside from the book will be issued at that time.
The book will debut November 2024
First order of business…choosing a title. Voting for the title of the book will take place Friday June 21. Book Title will be revealed June 28th
